Scouts

Well I have been in Cub Scouts 4 years, it will be 5 years in January of next year.  I will miss scouts, with all the changes in our ward I was told that changes were coming to scouting.  I personally rather stay there just because they are so many other callings that are way harder.  I have them for a year then they move on.  They drive me crazy sometimes and ran me out of energy and I have to stay creative to keep them from starting riots, but for the most park they make me laugh.  Some kids are over achievers and some I  have to push to get them to do anything, my main goal is for all of them to leave with their Wolf Patch, some belt loops and some extra patches at least two.  I had one kid that would not do anything and I wanted him to leave with at least his Wolf Patch, so I went to his house and would not leave until it was done.  I am sure his parents were ready for me to leave after an hour but I was there almost 3!.  When we were done he not only finished his Wolf Patch but had 2 belt loops, a conservation patch and 1 gold arrow and 2 silver.  It sure pays of and when I  see them advance it makes me happy to know that I did all that I could to help them.  If I am released, I will miss it.  I know how the program works now so when Evan turns 8, he will be ready.  I think he should earn everything in the book, so I will make sure he gets it all done!!!!!!
