At home

Well it has been awhile so I hope everyone had a great new year.  We had a good new years we went to a friends house and played games and ate too much.  The kids got to stay up late, we drove home and by the time we got back it was almost 2am.  Talia also turned 9 years old on the 10th of Jan and she got a new hair cut, she looks really grown up.  The past two weeks have been germ central at our house.  Everyone has been sick and Evan is just now feeling better.  We got tickets to the Draper Temple and we were not sure if we would be able to go since Linnea and Evan were still sick but we took them anyways.  It was not fun having sick kids there but we are glad we went.  The Temple is beautiful!  the kids asked a lot of questions and they were so excited to be able to go inside.  This past sunday we got to go to Maplenton for a missionary homecoming, Elder Ben Clayton served in the San Jose Costa Rica mission and my family send us a package via him.  We didn't know but we are glad we got to hear him speak and then we went to his parents house and had some yummy food.  We are hoping to go to Preston Idaho this weekend and visit my other family, the kids should be all better by then.  On a personal note I am feeling happy to be getting the first African American President I just wished it was the right African American.  I will spend a lot time on my knees praying for this wonderful FREE COUNRTY.
