Bountiful Food Bank

70 pounds worth of food not a lot but Talia decided to make a donation for her birthday. She is such a good example to us and her willingness to serve others and willing to sacrifice birthday gift for food. She asked everyone that came to her party to bring can goods instead of presents. I would love to take credit for her actions but she is such a strong minded little girl. When I was her age I was very selfish and unwilling to share. Talia is such a good sister to her little brother and to her little sister who at time prefers to be held by Talia then any of us. I am glad she picked me to be her mommy and I hope that I can help her archive her goals and dreams. I have learned so much from her and she is still teaching me. When I die I hope that she can say that I was her best friend and that she always felt loved and secure. After watching conference today and listening to all the amazing talks, it make me realized how much more I can do to serve others and to strengthen my family and make my home more Christ like. President Hinckley said it best with his 6 Be's. I loved the talked given by President Monson, it brought tears to my eyes and a lot of memories of my long journey to the land of the FREE.
