Decorating for Christmas

I love Christmas, I love learning about the birth of the Savior. Last year we got a great movie called The Nativity, I think this movie does a great job telling the story of Jesus Birth. I think we get too busy with activities and too many parties I hope that we can keep in mind why we celebrated Christmas. There are several groups that are in need of help and we have two charities that our family will be participating in. I encourage everyone to do something nice for a child in need. The homeless shelters have families who are in need, please open your heart if all you can do is donate 1 toy that is on more child who would have a smile on Christmas day. I love Christmas because I love to give people presents, I don't personally care for present for me but I love to see another person open presents and see the joy in their faces. We have been so blessed this year, Chris won the Circle of Excellence Award at work they give it once a year and we are so proud of all his great work. I am glad he was recognized for all he does.

I got a new Christmas sign during the Black Friday sale at Roberts.


Decorating the fireplace like I have said before I need more decor.

My Christmas Village, I added a new tree this year, Linnea decided she wanted to try out the snow and I had to tell her no touch and she has left it alone since.

I love Christmas decorations, I told Chris that I need more since I have two rooms to decorated this year.

Finding the perfect tree took some time and a lot of walking in the cold at least it was not snowing and the drive was not that bad. We got the lights and ornaments on.
