Blessings from above

A couple of weeks ago I got an invitation to the Harrison-Churnside Family Reunion. I was so excited but then the thoughts came how am I going to pay for this? We prayed, fasted, called the Temple and put our names on the roll and nothing. Our pay has also gone down a little and we did not think we could go. We talked about driving there but that too would be too expensive. The Lord heard my prayers and I got a call this morning from a lady in my ward and she said I am not sure why I am calling it mught seem really random and she was right it was. She explained that she had 1 ticket to anywhere American Airline flies and she gave it to me. My tears have not stopped I maked my reservations and I am still in shocked. My ancesters know that I need to be there and found a way for me to go and do some geneology. I wish we could all go ; ( I will keep praying so we could all go but as for now I will be going to Orlando in August. I have recieved such a wonderful blessing and I am just so glad that my Heavely father hears our prayers.

Wow! That's really cool! I just love how the Lord uses other people to help Him bless us.

An example of how "faith preceeds the miracle." I am so happy for you!

I have "Goose bumps". What a faith promoting story and how important it is for you to go and do some genealogy. A miracle that will bless your life. Happy the lady in the ward listened to the spirit.

That really adds to how special the trip will be! I am excited that you get to go and it might actually be kind of nice to have some alone time without the kids.

Wow! This is great Patricia. I hope you have a super time. If Chris needs help with the kids let me know. I won't be back to work until the last week of August.

You didn't tell me about that, how cool! I love it when things work out like that, that's amazing! Too bad we'll just miss each other in Florida, but I'm sure you'll have fun. =)
